I woke up early morning with a heavy heart. I guess I am still poignant because of what am I reading last night, The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. Such a tragic love story. I remember myself crying in the middle of the night because of what has happened to the lead character. I don’t want to spoil you guys so I won’t be telling the climax of the story. I’ll just warn those who are already sad and lonely, read at your own risk. Because for me the story is really depressing. :(
The day was really gloomy from the start, it seems like the weather is lamenting for our former President Cory Aquino as this is the last day of her wake at the Manila Cathedral. Filipinos from all walks of life are mourning because our country has lost a loving mother who gave us the gift of democracy. Personally I was really moved by the heaps of love and support people are giving to Tita Cory. From the novena when she was still bedridden until her funeral. She is now my idol for waking the patriotic spirit of every Filipino from a deep slumber. I’ve never been this proud of my race. And for that, I thank you Tita Cory. We will remember you forever and rest assured that we will continue your legacy of fighting for our rights and for our country. :(
Haaaay, I spent the day lying on the sofa, just watching the funeral services of Tita Cory while my ate is using the pc. She informed me beforehand that she’ll be using it for her work. But wth she is just playing Farm Town in Facebook the whole day! I am pissed because Paolo might be waiting for me to go online. Alas, it’s my turn to use the pc. But he is not online to my dismay. :(
Sadness times 3. Boo. FML.
